Iran Theater- Arash Abbasi is a playwright and director. He has been writing and directing some plays such as "The Basement," "The writer is dead," "The Sun Is Rising from Milan," and "Anakarnina". He is also the costume designer.For more than a decade, Arash Abbasi has been active in the theater. He has done many successful shows as a writer, actor and director. He has also published various plays.

After eight years, he has directed everything about Mr. F on and has made some changes to the show. Now he directs “Party” at City Theater Complex. The story is about  three woman and three man.They are three couples that get together in a party .

Some of  critics referred to some similarities between the play and Italian movie “The Perfect Stranger”(2016).  In an Interview with Iran Theater ,he replied:” I heard about it. The story of this famous movie comes to the life on stage many times. But I wrote the play ten years ago. One of my friend  directed it  some times ago. Our idea is the same. But I wrote the play in the other side of the world. An Italian writer wrote it in Europe and seven years later a film made based on it.”

Arash Abbasi’s works have few characters, mostly but compare to his other works,“party” has more characters, he said:” I’m not a playwright who wrote play with a lot of characters. I think the play with few characters has a benefit!”

Arash Abbasi believed that a play with few characters helps director to develop better characters.
