Iran Theater- Kambiz Amini In his most recent appearance on the stage as the father of Mr. Tapan’s  family, tries to present a different  performance at “a picnic on the battlefield”.

In the three decades of his acting career, Amini has played classic, difficult and multi-layered epic roles in plays such as Socrates, Cyrus, Dan Quixote, Odyssey, Calvin and more.

Fernando Arabal's "Picnic on the Battlefield" which is translated by  Dariush Modabian and directed by Zari Emad  will go on stage very soon.

About choosing role, Kambiz  Amini said:” The decisive thing for me to choose a show is production team, and then  the other issues matter. For me, playing   historical roles is fun and exciting, allowing me to get more out of myself. Playing  historical and epic roles  is  a very difficult job .”

Kambiz Amini said about working with very different directors:” Many of these directors like me to play as them .First I listen to what they say, and then I finally have to own the role and adopt it to myself. It's a bit harder for me to work with directors who are also actors.”

About Ferenando Arabel, he said:” This is my first experience with Arabal's work, and I think the author is capable and has a good sense of humor. “
