“Monsieur Verdoux” to Review

Iran Theater-The film “Monsieur Verdoux” will review in the radio program “Jadoye Siah/Black Magic” on Radio Namyesh.

Reyhane Yazdan Doost, producer of "Black Magic", said: "This week we will be discussing the anti-American film" Monsieur Verdoux” ", which is one of the talking movie   by Charlie Chaplin and it’s a  critic of American dreams.”

Monsieur Verdoux (Charles Chaplin) is a dapper Parisian family man who loses his job as a bank clerk. In order to support his wife and child, he devises a plan to woo and marry rich widows under a variety of aliases, then murder them for their money. His scheme works until his 14th victim and…

She added:” Every week, the program discusses the biographies of Jews who emigrated from Eastern Europe and came to the United States to improve their lives and businesses, especially those living in the post-World War II era who became head of large film companies.”

The program "Black Magic", produced by Reyhane Yazdanoust, author and researcher Mehdi Khani, is broadcast from the Radio Namayesh on Fridays from 21:00 to 22:00, with Amir Mohammad Samsami  and Fateme Niromand  as presenters .
