The show “Qajari Coffee” to stage

Iran Theater-The “Qajari Coffee” and “The only lobster lives among the bed Sheet , Othello” is going on stage at City Theater Complex.

The work ‘Qajari Coffee’ is  a comedy written by renowned actor, writer and theater director Atila Pesyani. The title refers to the bizarre ways of murder used by some Qajar royals, in which a suitor or a political opponent they wished to eliminate, was served a cup of coffee containing poison.

The “The only lobster lives among the bed Sheet , Othello” is based on Shakespeare’s “Othello”  and directed by Ebrahim PoshtKoohi.

It’ s the latest production of “Te tovok” Theater Group.

The story set in the south of Iran.Elaheh Baradaran as Assistant and Planner, Ghazal Gholami Assistant, Gata Abedi as Archetype Consultant, Amir Hossein Khalilzadeh as Stage Manager, Ebrahim Posht Koohi and Ali Tehranchi as Scene Designer, Maghdi Shamirian as Costume Designer, Fatima Posht Koohi  as  traditional cloth deisgner, Majid Keshavarz as Burqa Designer, Samin Salek as Makeup Designer, Ebrahim Posht Koohi as light Designer and Mehdi Ashna as Photographer will cooperate in the show.

The benefits of first two  performances of “Qajari Coffee” is dedicated to flooded-hit children.

Asghar Hemmat, Nahid Moslemi, Gholamreza Farajzadeh, Iman Eshraghi, Masih Kazemi, Mansour Soofi, Gata Abedi act in the show.
