The Radio show “Zahak” to be on air

Iran Theater- Mikail Shahrestani directs the radio show “Zahak” for Radio Namayesh.

It’s a six episode radio show that is based on Shahnameh. Babak Safi- khani wrote the play.

The Iranians who are suffering from the oppression of the Persian king Jamshid, go to Zahak and choose him as the king. Eblis, Zahak's assistant, lays two kisses on Zahak's shoulder and two snakes emerge from the kisses.

Fereydoon Esmaeili, Hamid Yazdani, Mehrdad Eshghian, Mohammad Aghamohammadi, Fatemeh Haddadi, Abbas Tofighi, Akbar Malaei, Hengameh Mahmoudi and Razieh Momivand star in the show.

The show has been on air since Feb 20.
