Afsaneh Gorji at Radio Namayesh

Iran Theater – On Thursday, Feb  27, Afsaneh Gorji legendary Georgian narrates the story of "The Magic Mill" in the program “Afsoon Afsaneh” on the radio show Channel.

"The Magic Mill" is based a Georgian legend  that Dr. Ahmad Bayati wrote and researched. Zinat Salehpoor  set the story for the radio program.

The story: For years, a girl named Sophia, who had lost her parents, lived in the master's house. The master and his wife, who were very selfish and greedy demand a lot from Sophia. Sophia used to grind a lot of wheat every day by hand until one day she was grinding wheat. An old man came to Sophia. Sophia kindly milled the old man and lit the oven and baked hot bread. The old man gave Sophia a beautiful and magical scarf in return for this kindness and told her that if she wore a head scarf, any wish would be fulfilled. And ....

Ahmad Ganji, Fariba Motekhases, Kamyar Mohebbi and Mehdi Ghiahi will act in the show.
