World Theatre Day celebrations are planned

Iran Theater- Shahram Karami, Director General of the Performing Arts stated: Plans have been made for World Theatre Day  celebrations (March 27th), which will be held depending on the conditions of Corona virus epidemic in the country, but some programs will be tailored to the circumstances.”

every year Performing Arts  Center and Artists come up with a variety of programs from street theaters to the messages of the greats.

But this year the situation is different due to Coronavirus pandemic and  holding  programs  at this national day is also unclear.

World Theatre Day is observed annually on March 27th. The International Theatre Institute created the day in 1961, and each year their message is spread across stages around the world through dramatic performances.
