It has been officially celebrated as National Performing Arts Day since  two years ago, and so far three festivities have been held across the country on this day. Ali Nasirian, late Jamshid Mashayekhi and Mohammad Ali Keshavarz were pioneering artists who respectively celebrated this day as National  Performing Arts Day of the Performing Arts in the last three years, respectively.
