The government should take action to compensate stage artists

Iran Theater- Ahmed Mazeni, member of parliament's cultural commission, called on the government to take action to compensate for financial damages done to the livelihood of theater activists.

Iran Theater- Ahmed Mazeni, member of parliament's cultural commission, called on the government to take action to compensate for financial damages done to the livelihood of theater activists.

On the occasion of the National Day of the Performing Arts, he wrote in his telegram channel: " 27th of March is a day  to honor the efforts of artists and activists in the field of performing arts.

Describing theater as a dialogue between artists and officials, he wrote: "This type of dialogue is one of the most civilized ways of expressing protest; a dialogue in the language of art that highlights the dilemmas so that they can be better seen and thought out.

Performing  arts artists have always been the voice of their community, and despite all the shortcomings and the lack of resources, they have worked with all their might and passion to maintain and develop this great art.

Due to Coronavirus pandemic,  stage artists , as well as other groups of people, experience different conditions this year. Due to the health of the people, all the shows have been closed for a unpredictable time and these holidays have greatly influenced the livelihoods of the active groups. I call on the government to take action and to compensate these loved ones in particular so that the economics of this valuable art will not be harmed any more.
