122 billion tomans financial damage caused by Coronavirus pandemic

Iran Theater- The Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Kermanshah Province announced that financial damage caused by the Coronavirus outbreak in the province's cultural field has been about 122 billion Tomans so far.

Iran Theater- The Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Kermanshah Province announced that financial damage caused by the Coronavirus outbreak in the province's cultural field has been about 122 billion Tomans so far.

 He announced prosecuting of the financial losses of journalists, media,culture, art, publishing, theater, cinema, media, schools, , institutions, centers and cultural classes of Kermanshah province.

He said:” Just as the country's manufacturing and service sectors have been affected by the closure due to Coronavirus virus, the field of culture and the arts has suffered, and almost all sectors have been shut down for about two months since the outbreak.”

Fazeli continued: "Music and theater performances, which were widely held in the province, are now in trouble, and even a number of artists who made a living only through works such as music, theater, have  financial crisis."

He  continued: "We must provide conditions for artists to make up for the shortcomings in the home with artistic productions and activities in social media; various art competitions and festivals are held online and the government provides support facilities for this. The department has planned so that artists can inject peace into society with their art productions and online publishing. According to the research of the General Directorate of Islamic Culture and Guidance, the financial  damage to the province's cultural field has been estimated at 122 billion tomans, which will certainly increase with the closure of the province's cultural, artistic and media activities.”
