The call for the Human- -Art-Crisis playwriting competition to announce

Iran Theater- Fateh Badparva, president of the Performing Arts Center in Kurdistan Province, announced the publication of the call for the playwriting competition as one of the association's first actions in new  year.

 He said:” Considering that dramatic literature is one of the basic principles of performing arts and the importance of producing plays and discovering and recognizing creative talents in this field is one of the priorities of the Performing Arts Center throughout the country. On the other hand, considering the current situation in the society and Coronavirus crisis, Performing Arts  Center in Kurdistan intends to hold a playwriting competition focusing on "dramatic literature and epidemic crisis" in two Kurdish and Persian language, and in two main sections and comedy plays. It’s the necessity of creating a happy and hopeful atmosphere in the society and the importance of luxury comedy plays.”

Playwrights can send their works according to the text of the call.

He emphasized :” The  plays will be reviewed by the jury of and the best works will be awarded valuable prizes. Also, with the help of the Kurdistan Studies Research Center of the Islamic Azad University of Kurdistan, the top 10 selected plays will be published in the fourth volume of the book collection of the play "Rozhmiri Sharik".

The  Competition will be held with the supports of Performing Arts Center in Kurdistan Province, with the support of the General Directorate of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Kurdistan Province, the General Directorate of Performing Arts Center in Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Kurdistan Studies Research Center of the Islamic Azad University of Kurdistan and Iran Theater website.
