We are producing Tele Theater “Honey Moon”

Iran Theater- Mehrdad Khamenei said: After the wrap of production, we will  broadcast “Honey Moon” online for free.

             

In an Interview with Iran Theater ,Mehrdad Khamenei talked about his recent activities. He said:” Due to the outbreak of Coronavirus disease and the closure of theaters, we have decided to produce a tele theater in our troup, Exit Theater Group and will be available online and free of charge for the audiences. For a while, we have started the rehearsal. Honey Moon is written by Gholam-Hossein Saedi, and likely we will start filming in June, and it will be released online in in August.”

“The story is about the life of a young couple who have just gotten married and are having their honeymoon. Suddenly, an uninvited guest, an elderly woman, enters their lives and takes control of the couple. Like most of Saedi's writings in the 1940s and 1950s, this text is political in nature, and in a way, this aged woman is a symbol of the Pahlavi regime, influencing people's lives and making them their plaything.”

He added:” Honey Moon will be available on the Aparat, YouTube website and Telegram channel of the Exit Theater Group. In the past, we had  broadcasted teachers  in such a way .”

The cast include: Iraj Tadayon, Majid Asghari, Lily Shojaei and Jalil Hosseini
