“Qandoon” to be produced

Iran Theater-Hadi Hoori, playwright and stage director is making radio show and t.v shows during quarantine time.

His latest show “Qandoon” is a comedy show and narrative but it has a visual approach.

Hadi Hoori said:”

The program “Qandoon” has been created in order to show the endless capacities of the Persian language. This program, which consists of one hundred and twenty episodes, begins each time with prayers that are recited in a concise and prose form, and sometimes in a long way. And then it continues with today's dialogue and the capacity of hidden languages that are widely used in dramatic characterizations.”

He added:”In each program, we narrate and explain an anecdote from ancient books and literature. We describe the spelling and the meaning of its difficult words and try to share these stories with the audience each time with today's excerpts.”

Hadi Hoori had previously staged the play "Revenge" at Divar Chaharoom Theater Hall, and the  show was stopped due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
