The Program "Roshna" to be on air

Iran Theater- A radio show “Roshna” will be on air during laylat al-Qader nights.

A radio magazine  “Roshna” will be on air on Radio Namayesh.

Mohamad Esmaielpour, the producer,said :” In this program, the reflection of laylat al-Qader nights

in the performing arts, poetry and literature, and the visual arts, especially the "Roshana" program, will be examined. The program will be broadcast live on Radio Namayesh on Tuesday night, Thursday night and Saturday night”

He added:” In the Performing Arts section, Reza Ashofteh, a critic and researcher, is present as an expert and while analyzing and criticizing the process of layalat Al-Ghadr, he discusses with artists such as Rahmat Amini, Nasrollah Ghaderi, Saman Khalilian and Davood Fath Ali Beigi. Abdolhamid Ghadirian, painter and cinematographer in the visual arts section, Emad Vakili in the poetry and literature section, Mostafa Mohaddesi Khorasani in the poetry section and Morteza AlKathir in the storytelling section are the guests of program.”

Laylat al-Qadr (from Arabic: لیلة القدر‎), variously rendered in English as the Night of Decree, Night of Power, Night of Value, Night of Destiny,or Night of Measures, is, in Islamic belief, the night when the Quran was first sent down from Heaven to the world and also the night when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to the prophet Muhammad.According to many Muslim sources, it was one of the odd-numbered nights of the last ten days of Ramadan, the ninth month of the Islamic calendar. Since that time, Muslims have regarded the last ten nights of Ramadan as being especially blessed. Muslims believe that the Night of Qadr comes with blessings and mercy of God in abundance, sins are forgiven, supplications are accepted, and that the annual decree is revealed to the angels who carry it out according to God's plan.
