Hamid Samandarian's digital audio and video collection to publish

 Iran Theater- Afsaneh Mahian announced the publication of Hamid Samandarian's digital audio and video collection.

She said: "Three plays " The Physicists "," Play Strindberg ",  “Hercules in the Augean Stables "translated by Hamid Samandarian will be published by Qatreh Publishing House

All the play is written by Swiss writer Friedrich Dürrenmatt.

She, who has legally right for Samandarian's works, added: "During his living and after his death, I did my best to make the process of publishing books correct, up-to-date and with a new edition available to those who are interested.”

Mahian, which continues to publish the book "This Scene is My Home", including Life, Thought, Works and Discussion about Samandarian's Artistic Life, is writing a new book.

“I have collect a series of theoretical discussions and specialized points of view on world theater and playwrights from the translations of Hamid Samandarian, which could be a reference work and to be published in the form of a book. The quarantine period, due to the outbreak of the coronavirus and the closure of theaters, provided an opportunity for me to prepare this work for publication.”
