I hope the audience's trust will be gained

Iran Theater- After a few months of closing theaters,  now The Theater Halls are reopening and performances  kick starts..

                                  

Veteran Iranian theater artist, actor, director and voice actor Mikaeel Shahrestani is to stage “August:osage County”. Zohreh Yaghoubi, Shirin Farkhondehnejad, Maryam Farahabadi, Bahador Bastan Hagh, Mahi Moshiri, Marjan Razm Azma, Hossein Zanganeh, Delaram Zargar, Samareh Hassanzadeh, Massoud Ashouri, Ali Ghanbarzad will play in the play.

Iran Theater Talks to him about about current  conditions and the performance of his play.

Mikaell Shahrestani assesses the reception of the spectators:” I look forward to seeing the audience in the halls again, and I hope that the audience will come and see the show. Due to the caution of the spectators  ,they may come and watch the show. It should be noted that these days, any kind of social activity faces these kinds of challenges and is not specific to theater.”

He added:” We expect government support us,  supporting  the private sector, where the troupe pay a lot of money to perform. I have already spent a lot of money to prepare August for Orange County, and I hope that the situation will be such that part of this cost will be reimbursed.  I am concerned about the health of the cast and crew as well.”

Is he to observe social distance; Has the structure of the mise en scène changed?

He replied:” Yes, there were changes in the mise en scène, and most of the scenes were designed in the presence of two or three actors, and the scenes where the actors came closer to each other were also deleted.”
