Theater must be produced for the people

Iran Theater- Qader Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts  Center said: "Theater is welcomed when it can answer some of the needs and questions of society."

In the radio program “ last curtain”  , director of performing arts centerhad a telephone conversation on the subject of the audience crisis in Iran Theater.

Noting that there are different types of theater, he said: "Each theater has its own characteristics and goes in a certain direction."

He added: "We should try not to produce theater only for theater activists."

The director general of the performing arts Center continued: "The shows must be produced for all people and presented to all people in society."

"We have to pay attention to the originality of the theater," he said.

 " The theater must have the best quality to attract the audience. Theater becomes popular and welcomed when it can answer some of the needs and questions of society.”

Referring to the problems of the current economy in the country, he explained: "Experience has shown that if we produce good theater, people will come and buy tickets."

He said that theater has received attention in many parts of the country today
