Iran Theater- Faghiheh Soltani said: " last summer, we started the pre- producation of a Little Bite, and this performance is the result of a year's efforts of a professional and knowledgeable group."
The play "A Little Bite" is written by Farzaneh Soheili and directed by Faghiheh Soltani.The play went on stage on February in the Sayeh Hall but due to the outbreak of the Coronavirus, its performances were stopped.Gilda Hamidi, Shahrooz Del Afkar, Afshin Ghiasi, Mahsa Mahjoor, Nora Hashemi play in the show.
She is a well-known actress in cinema, television and theater who has directed many good plays.
“A Little Bite “ is going on stage at City Theater Complex as the first show after reopening of the theater hall.
About the performance she said:” I needed a big black box hall, and due to the size of the shadow hall, I had given up the huge decor that had been designed, and we paid a lot of money to change the decor. A hall like Hafez or Ustad Samandarian was a better place to perform but But they did not allow us to use these halls. They ignored my twenty years of experience in the theater, and we finally started performing in the Sayeh Hall.”
She explained the choice of the show:” I like Farzaneh Soheili’s point of views and it is very close to mine, but it is necessary to explain that it was my pitch and I asked Farzaneh Soheili to work on it and then I rewrote it about ten times.”
