Iran Theater-Sangalaj Theater Complex is one of the first public theater halls to reopen after the Coronavirus pandemic, which has created a memorable environment for spectators with proper hygiene measures.

Sangalaj Theater Complex is undoubtedly one of the toughest theater halls these days against Coronavirus pandemic. The theater hall, which tries to follow the health protocol and what Parisa Muqtada describes as a four-month living experience with Coronavirus, reduces the possibility of a corona outbreak from this gathering center to zero.

Controlling the visitors with a thermometer upon arrival, disinfecting different parts of the theater before and after the show, requiring the use of a mask, maintaining the 50% capacity of the hall and using a disposable cover for the seats, maintaining the health security of the make-up room and changing clothes By reducing the gathering of artists, assigning special make-up accessories to the actors, changing the mezzanine as much as possible in order to maintain the social distance of the actors, etc., are among these measures.

Another attraction of Sangelaj Theater Complex is the placement of photographs of theater artists on chairs that do not sell tickets in order to maintain the distance between the spectators.

Parisa Moqtada, director of Sangalaj Theater Complex, said: "In the second half of June, after a meeting with Mr. Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts Center, about the reopening of theaters, we talked with two groups whose performances were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Both groups announced their readiness to perform on July 1, and the group rehearsals began at that time.”

She added:” Based on the health protocol and the experiences we gained from 4 months of living with Corona; We have designed a variety of prevention programs, including controlling spectators  , office staff, artists, and with a thermometer at the time of arrival, and setting a place for disinfectants at the entrance. “
