Iran Theater- Qader Ashna , The Director General of Performing Arts announced 300 million Tomans donation to private theater halls.

In an interview with ISNA, the Director General of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance stated : Following the issue of financial losses of private halls in Tehran due to the coronavirus pandemic , It has been agreed to provide a loan through the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in addition to the Kara site, follow-ups accompanied by Ms. Heidari (Deputy Minister of Management Development and Resources of the Ministry of Guidance), It has been reached that a loan will be given through the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs,  in addition to the Kara site, follow-ups accompanied by Ms. Heidari (Deputy Minister of Management Development and Resources of the Ministry of Guidance), representative of the General Directorate of Performing Arts (Atabak Naderi), The theater and the director of the Iranian Association of Private Theaters (Shahin Chegini) took place, and the government was supposed to give a 100 million Toman low-interest loan to the theater halls.”

He added:” We also followed up with non-governmental organizations and we hope to reach a definite result, but as the General Directorate of Performing Arts, we thought of providing support ourselves, although the budget of the General Directorate has not been approved yet and we have not received any money for this support. However, it was decided to support the active and damaged halls during this period in the form of a grant. Based on this, we approved a figure of 300 million Tomans from our sources to allocate for various criteria such as activity, audience capacity, etc., free of charge..”
