I direct "Awakening" with the theme of the corona virus

In an interview with Iran Theater, Jaleh Kazemi said about her work activities: "I have presented the Awakening play to participate in the International Sacred Defense Theater Festival and I am waiting for the announcement of the accepted works so that I can decide to produce the show."

About the theme of the play she explained :” The story is about the mother of a martyr whose daughter was a nurse during the war and was martyred in Khorramshahr city, and her body is among the missing. Based on her beliefs, this mother works in the mortuary, and events take place in this mortuary  between her and several other women who work there. This mother tries to follow in her daughter's footsteps and sees the image of her daughter in the faces of other girls.”

Referring to the prominent role of women during the war, Kazemi stated: "However, women played an important role at that time." The atmosphere of the play occurs in the present and the past, and the failure of time is seen in the narrative structure with the presence of the girl's voice on the stage. There are six female characters in the play.”
