Iran Theater-The show “I was Only Forty Days” will be on stage at Sayeh Hall since Friday, August 14.
The play "I Was Only Forty Days" is written by Masoud Hasheminejad and directed by Massoud Taybi will start its performance on Friday in the Sayeh Hall.
Massoud Tayebi said :”During the first performance of this play at the festival and also the second performance, the play was designed based on the acting structure of "microacting", in which a completely surreal atmosphere with a break in time prevailed, but I have applied major changes the play in terms of directing technique and acting for the third performance , which can be a different experience for the audience.”
Pointing out that art, especially theater, cannot be separated from the social life and conditions of society and the social experiences Taybi said: "The new performance of this play is conceptually based on the current situation that Iran and the whole world are affected by. In quarantine, Covid 19 experience a different and new lifestyle. In this view, the play "I was only forty days old" refers to a completely personal and social theme that has occupied the minds of all human beings, especially these days.
