Artists should not forget their cultural mission
Iran Theater- Hossein Mosafer Astaneh, secretary of the 39th FADJR International Theater Festival, referring to the mottos of some artists that one cannot live without acting in the theater, said: "Some artists did not live up to their mottos, so they should never forget their cultural mission."
Hossein Mosafer Astaneh, pointed out that since last year, the executive program of theater troupes had been planned for next year.
He continued: " In our country, like in other countries of the world, the coronavirus epidemic caused the closure of cultural and artistic activities and the different way of reopening caused our plans to change. At present, we are still in the process of reopening Iranshahr Theater, and when we make a definite decision about starting activities, we can host plays that are ready to be performed in Iranshahr in less than a week. “
Secretary of Iranshahr Theater Policy Council said that the form of production and activity during the Coronavirus pandemic in the field of performing arts, which is a living art and in direct contact with the audience, has its own risks.
He added:” In fact, most groups ask us for a guarantee for their shows, which seems impossible due to the coronavirus pandemic and the formation of the second wave in recent weeks.”
