The works of Katherine Mansfield to review at the Radio Show “ The Labyrinth of stories”

Iran Theater- This week, Radio Show's "Labyrinth of Stories" will cover the work of "Katherine Mansfield", a famous English writer.
The early twentieth century is one of the golden age of English literature; when famous novelists and poets entered the literary arena. However, in this literary tradition, short stories were less popular than novels, and Katherine Mansfield was the only author to immortalize her name alongside the greats of English literature simply by writing short stories.
Kathleen Mansfield Murry was a prominent modernist writer who was born and brought up in New Zealand. She wrote short stories and poetry under the pen name Katherine Mansfield. When she was 19, she left colonial New Zealand and settled in England, where she became a friend of writers such as D. H. Lawrence and Virginia Woolf. Mansfield was diagnosed with extrapulmonary tuberculosis in 1917; the disease claimed her life at the age of 34.
