Iran Theater- The farewell ceremony of Saeed Asadi, the former director of City Theater Complex, and the introduction of Ebrahim Gale-Darzadeh, the new director, was held at the Hall of Fame of City Theater Complex.
At the ceremony Qader Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts Center said: "Saeed Asadi’s prejudice and commitment his country is the greatest feature that I can say about him."
The ceremony was attended by a number of directors from different departments of the General Directorate of Performing Arts Center.
Saeed Asadi said: "At the last minutes of my presence in the Complex as the director, I am very happy to be with you dear ones and I can say that it was an honor for me to be the director of a complex whose goal is excellence. Anyway, in the last 26 months, if good and successful things have happened here, it is due to the efforts of my colleagues in different departments, and if there is a lack, it is due to my weakness, for which I will apologize.”
He continued:”During this period, we did our best to bring different generations of theater artists to the stage in different halls of this collection. In any case, the conditions for theater production in Iran are special, but during my stay, I tried to prepare a document in the form of a vision, taking it into account, and hand it over to the management of the General Directorate of Performing Arts Center; Because I believe that City Theater Complex should become the largest state-owned theater company in Iran and move from "hall management" to "production" company. Thanks to the efforts of the friends of the General Directorate of Performing Arts Center, perhaps the document will allow the city Theater Complex to make this series the centerpoint of Iran's professional theater production. I believe that if the state theater moves on the basis of a well-planned idea, there will be a private theater.”
Ebrahim Galeh-Darzadeh thanked Saeed Asadi for his efforts and activities in the previous period of managing and said: "Certainly, Dr. Asadi has had difficult days during managing of The City Theater Complex. I believe that the administrative and technical staff of the City Theater Complex is one of the most professional theater staffs in Iran, and there is no doubt in their ability.”
