Artistic cooperation between Iran and Lebanon

The meeting was attended by Hussein al-Ajami, an advisor at the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, conductor Andrea AlHaj, Iran’s Deputy Culture Minister for Artistic Affairs, Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini .

Referring to the memorandum of cultural cooperation between the two countries, Hossein Ajami said: "Lebanon is ready and willing to have joint artistic activities and cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields of music and visual arts."

Seyed Mojtaba Hosseini, ‌ Deputy Minister of Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, also said: "Art is a language without the need for translation and the best line of communication between nations, and the strongest ties are cultural and artistic ties." Artistic ties have been established between Iran and Lebanon from the past and will be strengthened by further interaction of joint artistic activities and programs.
