The playwriting section does not receive as much attention as the stage section

He  said: "This year, we have decided to publish the winners of the radio section that have been awarded in the previous editions of the festival."

He emphasized:” The playwriting section is one of the most important sections of the Iranian University Theater Festival, which unfortunately, like other sections of the festival, has been influenced by the stage section and its works have not been seen as it deserves. We, as the audience, do not have any information about the selected works of this section in the past. That is, no one has read these plays and no one has performed them. So this year, after consulting with artists and playwrights and with the festival's research assistant, we decided to publish the selected works of the 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st and 22nd festivals to provide an opportunity for these works to be seen. There have also been some talks with several reputable publications in order to make these plays available to those interested in university theater with the best quality.”

The 23rd International University Theater Festival under the auspices of Mojtaba Jedi  will be held  in November.
