A New Festival to be Held
Iran Theater- Ardeshir Salehpoor, head of Iran UNIMA, informed that a festival is held on the theme of post-Coronavirus world and theater of objects.
He explained:” Theater of objects is an artistic movement that has been created in the world against consumerism and intends to create works from waste and unusable objects and turn them into artistic figures. And the transformation of puppetry art into home, easy, popular and social art is the basis of this movement and artistic protest. In this way, a creative and artistic work is done with the least facilities . Creativity and innovation using modern methods of performance is the main goal of this puppet festival.”
He added:” Undoubtedly, the outbreak of the deadly Coronavirus will be the source of many changes and changes in lifestyle and behavioral and social changes, and art as a social phenomenon will not be separated from this and will have its own effects.”
In in accordance with the observance of health protocols ,The Theater of Objects Festival will be held online, , in two Sections: educational and performance.
