Jorge Luis Borges’s works to review

Iran Theater- In the new episode of the Radio Show, the works of Jorge Luis Borges, an Argentine writer, poet, philosopher and writer, are examined.

Borges is a writer known as the father of Latin American short story.

Jorge Luis Borges, (born August 24, 1899, Buenos Aires, Argentina—died June 14, 1986, Geneva, Switzerland), Argentine poet, essayist, and short-story writer whose works became classics of 20th-century world literature.

His best-known books, Ficciones (Fictions) and El Aleph (The Aleph), published in the 1940s, are compilations of short stories interconnected by common themes, including dreams, labyrinths, philosophers, libraries, mirrors, fictional writers, and mythology.[3] Borges' works have contributed to philosophical literature and the fantasy genre, and have been considered by some critics to mark the beginning of the magic realist movement in 20th century Latin American literature. His late poems converse with such cultural figures as Spinoza, Camões, and Virgil.

In this episode, Behnaz Bostandoust will narrate the story of Borges "Sword Wound" and Kayhan Bahmani will study this story and other works of this author. The biography is narrated by Reza Omrani and producer is Jaleh Mohammad Ali.
