Mehdi Miami:

He died with popularity

Iran Theater- Undoubtedly, Karim Akbari Mobarakeh was a living actor in theater and television, and he left dozens of lasting roles for different generations.

Mehdi Miami, who has been friends and collaborators with Akbari Mobarakeh for many years, is one of the directors with whom he worked in recent years in the play "A Man Named Dayak".

He told Iran Theater about this late actor:” : I have known and befriended Karim Akbar Mobarakeh since his youth, and during these three decades we were often together. I loved him very much because of his moral qualities, and he was closer to me than my brother.”

“In joy, in unhappiness, in poverty and in wealth, and in spite of joy, his friendship was enduring and exemplary. I said to him many times, You are like Christ in this day and age.”

Miami added:” Rest assured you have heard of good qualities; He had, he had a great soul. Two years ago, I had the honor of working with Karim again in a play  a man named Dyke. He helped me a lot in promoting this play, but in these three decades, even when Karim did not play in my play, he was still by my side and gave me morale.”

He emphasized:” In the play, a man named Dyke played brilliantly despite his medical history and aroused everyone's admiration. The next year, when I was going to make a film about a man named Dyke and I asked Karim to play in it, unfortunately he could not be with us due to his bad mood and I did not use another actor out of respect for him and I played the role myself.”
