The situation of children and adolescent theater artists is worrying

Amir Mashahdi-Abbas explained:” The center's physical activities, such as rehearsals and theater performances, are closed, but the activities continue online and increase every day. We had a "show" program during which the audience could watch movies in theaters. We plan to add the movies section of the center as well as music for children and teenagers.”

 

He pointed out that it is not clear when the reopening of the halls will take place due to coronavirus pandemic and restrictions: "Our biggest concern is the children's theater groups because it has become very difficult for them to work in these conditions. These groups are in a very bad financial situation.”

 

Mashhadi Abbas, stated that the centers and institutions that should do something for children and adolescent theater artists, he reminded: The  Artists Forum and the Art Credit Fund should think of this group of artists because in these circumstances there is nothing for them; They can not perform, they can not interact with schools, they can not perform online.”
