The Film Theater “I am not Trump!” to release

Iran Theater-A live- stage filmed “I am not Trump!”, Produced and directed by Reza Khoram has been released in Amazon Prime.

The film started to release in the United Kingdom and the United States and will gradually release in other countries. A black comedy Written by Ali Mohammad Rahimi and dramatized by Behzad Sedighi is the first live- stage filmed to be produced and distributed worldwide in English.

According to the director, the play was originally supposed to have several live performances in European and American countries with foreign crews. But with the spread of coronavirus pandemic around the world, it was eventually decided to be produced as a movie theater. In this work, Reza Fayyazi, a veteran actor, played the role of Trump, and stage actors, including Siroos Kahourinejad, Soroush Taheri, Vahid Aghapour, and Shahrooz Delafkar, have performed.

The main language of the film is English and in the near future it will be dubbed into Persian by the voice-actors and will be ready for broadcast on one of the domestic platforms. The shooting of this theatrical film, which was directed by Arash Khalaaghdoost, ended in October. The costume design was done by Marjan Golzar and the makeup design was done by Maria Hajiha.

It is about the character of President Trump, who is facing a lot of pressure to compete with Joe Biden in the run-up to the 2020 presidential election. To escape this stress, he takes refuge in his dry sauna in the Trump Tower with a glass of alcohol. No one believes he drinks, but ...
