The Resistance Theater Festival is a valuable service to the Iranian culture and art
Iran Theater- Kourosh Soleimani, a member of the selection committee of the student section of the 17th National Resistance Theater Festival, said: "Any service to the culture and art of the country is a valuable blessing, and the establishment of the 17th Resistance Theater Festival is an important service and a valuable blessing for the country's culture and art."
He believes :” The presence of student performances in theater festivals and performances of these groups always arouses the enthusiasm of the theater people. Theater student groups produce theater with great enthusiasm and new ideas. Usually, student works in any kind have creations that are rarely seen in professional theater, and this makes it special.”
Soleimani added: "The works of the student section of the 17th Resistance Theater Festival also have characteristics that make them important in their field."
Referring to the unfavorable situation of the country's theater during coronavirus pandemic, which is due to economic problems and frequent closures of halls, he said: "The stage works in Iran is going through days when any activity is a trophy and has a double value. One of these activities is the establishment of the Resistance Theater Festival, which is praiseworthy.”
