Behrouz Gharibpour:
Coronavirus pandemic provided an opportunity for talent to be seen

Iran Theater-Regarding the state of theater halls and the holding of festivals and theatrical events during the Corona virus pandemic, Behrouz Gharibpour believes that these conditions have provided an opportunity for people and artists to see the talented people online.
"From the very beginning of the coronavirus crisis, i believed that the coronavirus pandemic would take away our presence in the usual way, and it would continue," he said.
“ Therefore, it is better to find a way to hold everything online. Because there were no more than two solutions. The first is to not hold the festival and the second is to think of an alternative solution to keep and hold it, the latter is definitely better.”
He added: "In these circumstances, there is no better alternative to holding the festival than using cyberspace."
. This is a solution that European and American countries have chosen. from we do not have better conditions in terms of technology, theater economy, etc.
Incidentally, prestigious international festivals reached brilliant points with this experience. They did not make a fuss about opposing online shows and were able to attract a significant audience during this period . Coincidentally, prestigious international festivals gained brilliant experiences by holding online. They did not make a fuss about opposing online theater and were able to attract a significant audience during this period. But unfortunately, we have to ask the Iranian opposition with online theater performances what solution do they offer for live performances ?!”
Gharibpour stated that the theater needed something like the coronavirus pandemic: "It was as if we needed something like the coronavirus in the theater; Certainly not in terms of its harms, but it has strengthen communications in the online world and maked the best use of cyberspace, and made us realize the values of this space.”
