Qader Ashna:
Continue negotiations to resume theater activities

Iran Theater- Qader Ashna, director general of the performing arts Center, expressed hope that theatrical activities would resume soon, he referred to the pursuit of transferring theater works from the group of 3 to 2 jobs designated by the National Headquarters of Administrating coronavirus.
Qader Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, explained the situation with the resumption of theatrical activities and consultations with the National Headquarters of Administrating coronavirus.
He said: "The Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance has corresponded with the Minister of Health and also the National Headquarters of Administrating coronavirus regarding the transfer of the theater from Group 3 to the 2 job classifications carried out by the Headquarters."
“We want to transfer the theater to group 2 of the job categories, and during a meeting at the Ministry of Health, we presented our expert evidence in this regard. The second meeting was scheduled to be held last week and the result will be determined, but unfortunately the meeting was not held. The Minister of Guidance and his Deputy Minister of Arts are working to hold a second meeting this week or finally next week to determine the status of the resumption of theatrical activities.”
While Ashna expressed hope that the summing up of the sessions in question will end well, stressed: "With these coronavirus pandemic conditions that the halls is reopened and closed again, it is not possible to properly plan theatrical activities. If the theatrical activities and jobs are transferred to a group of 2 occupations, there will be no such problem and the planning for theatrical activities will be done properly.”
At the end of his speech, the Director General of Performing Arts Center said: "Regarding the meeting that was held and the speeches that were made, After the second meeting , I hope that the theater problem will be solved and theatrical activities will resume soon."
