Reopening of theater and cinema halls in Tehran

Iran Theater- With the decrease in the number of coronavirus patients in Tehran from today, January 9, it was possible to reopen theater and cinema halls in Tehran.
According to Iran Theater Qader Ashna, the Director General of Performing Arts Center confirmed the news and said: "Due to the change in Tehran from orange to yellow colour, theaters halls will be reopened in accordance with the health protocols as previously announced."
He pointed out that in all yellow cities it is possible to reopen halls, about how much confidence and guarantee there is for theatrical groups not to face closure again when a performance is ready? He said: "We plan for the activities of groups in cities with a yellow status in accordance with the procedures, and groups that were already ready can be go on stage and can also submit their applications."
He said: "However, in addition to being happy that the halls have been reopened and we wish that the situation of all cities will be white sooner I hope this situation will continue.
Of course, I emphasize that we are still looking to transfer theatrical jobs from group three to group two, and in this regard, we will have a meeting tomorrow to conclude what Mr. Salehi, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, was pursuing before.
Accordingly, one of the first plays that we will see performed is Hamid Reza Naeemi's new play "Gargas or Good Day, Mr. Minister" in the main theater of the city Theater Complex, which was rehearsed and ready to be performed a long time ago.”
