Having physically Performance at Fadjr Theater Festival
Iran Theater- The secretary of the 39th Fadjr Theater Festival stated that the line-up of different sections will be announced this week and confirmed that this edition of the festival will also have performances physically.
He continued: "Due to the change in the situation of Tehran from Orange to Yellow area and the reopening of cinema and theater halls, the Fadjr Theater Festival will host the audience by observing health protocols and considering half the capacity of the halls."
The secretary of the Fadjr Theater Festival reminded: Of course, most of the festival programs are followed in cyberspace and it is so difficult for us to add the physically performances because all the planning was done based on the conditions and facilities of cyberspace. The presence of spectators in theaters is a trophy, and we will do our best to make this happen and to receive the spectators physically.
The festival will be running from January 30 to February 9 this year.
According to the director of the festival, Hossein Mosafer Astaneh, the international competition of the 2021 edition of the event will not be held due to a spike in coronavirus cases around the globe.
“There will be no international section for the 39th edition of the festival, because most of the theater companies around the world are currently closed,” Mosafer Astaneh has earlier said.
