Hassan Karimi , a veteran stage artists, passed away
Iran Theater- Hassan Karimi Hasanijeh, a theater artist and a member of the Performing Supervision Council of the General Directorate of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Isfahan Province, died this morning of a heart attack.
Mohammad Torabi, the Director of the Isfahan Performing Arts Association, told ISNA: "Hassan Karimi Hasanijeh was one of the veteran Theater Masters of the Isfahan Theater community whom died in the morning.”
He continued: "This artist mostly played a role in the works of his late brother, Ebrahim Karimi Hasanijeh, and in recent years he has been mostly engaged in works such as judging and reviewing plays in various festivals, including the provincial theater festival and he was a member in the General Supervision Council."
Ehsan Janami, a theater director who had a close friendship with Hassan Karimi Hasanijeh, also stated: He was a faihtful theater artist who in the eighties, with Ebrahim Karimi Hasanijeh, held the flag of Isfahan province in prestigious festivals. In 1984, this artist received the best actor award from the Fadjr Theater Festival.”
