City Theater Complex to Home three shows

Iran Theater- Three new plays directed by Amir Dezhkam, Kahbod Taraj and Morteza Shah Karam will begin their performances in the coming days in the Chaharsoo, Qashqai and Sayeh halls of the City Theater Complex.

"Ayoub Khan" directed by Amir Dezhkam, "Yamaha" directed by Kahbod Taraj and "Brunsi" directed by Morteza Shah Karam are the three new shows in the City Theater Complex which will be on stage  after long hiatus due to cornavirus Pandemic. The current performances will start in Chaharsoo Hall, Qashqai Hall and Shadow Hall of  City Theater Complex.

Ayub Khan, written and directed by Amir Dezhkam, is the first play to reopen the City Theater Complex.

The story of Ayub Khan takes place in the late 1960s and early 1970s and tells the story of a woman whose husband is about to be executed after beating several police officers. The woman came from Golbaft to the house of Ayub Khan, an athlete and philanthropist. She wants with his help to raise money for her husband and save him from execution. Yamaha is the story of three people who are related; Brother and sister with a daughter. After many years,  brother tells the story of his sister in the 1960’s  and 70’s.  Kahbod Taraj writes and directs the show.

The show "Brunsi" is about four periods in the life of the martyr Abdul Hussein Brunsi.
