Hope in the time of the Coronavirus pandemic
Iran Theater- In a message to the 39th Fadjr Theater Festival, Qader Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts, said that the creativity and ingenuity of the artists opened the windows of hope in the coronavirus pandemic.
Qader Ashna, Director General of Performing Arts Center, issued a message in the province of the 39th Fajr Theater Festival.
It was a difficult year; Difficult for the world and undoubtedly difficult for the theater and honorable theater artists. An unfortunate event disrupted the order of the world and changed many individual and social rules. Something like a drama happening; Disrupting the current order and creating a crisis!
During this time many social activities were limited or even stopped. Performances around the world were shut down; But life was ongoing, and man was looking for new and effective approaches and ideas to deal with this crisis and problem.
Inevitably, the approaches changed so that the flow of artistic creation and communication with the audience did not stop for a long time. The streaming platforms and new technologies were used so that while maintaining the health and safety of artists and audiences, the fields of creation and exchange of meaning, message and beauty were not interrupted.
However, in this forced situation, the fundamental part of the theater, which is the lively and dynamic confrontation between the artists and the audience, was damaged; But thanks to the creativity and ingenuity of the artists, the windows of hope remained open. This global event, with all its unhappiness, re-highlighted some axioms for the world, as if these axioms had been neglected for years: communication, family, livelihood, etc .; It is as if such a flip should bring the world to itself in order to realize that life, with all its normal and perhaps repetitive routines, has many blessings.
