Two Foreign shows at Tehran Puppet Theater Festival

Iran Theater- Two foreign plays from Slovenia and Brazil are participating in the 18th Tehran-Mubarak Puppet Festival.

Although the 18th Puppet Festival is being held nationally due to the current coronary conditions, in the last three days, two foreign plays from Slovenia and Brazil along with Iranian plays are perfroming, according to Iran Theater. They are presented on festival platforms.

Fahimeh Mirza Hosseini, who is in charge of managing the research department and educational workshops of this period of the festival, explained about the presence of these two plays: Although it is the 18th national festival, but this festival is known in the world. For this reason, many puppet shows from different countries wanted to participate in this period of the festival.”

 

She continued: "With the continuous cooperation of Ms. Maryam Iranemanesh, the special conditions of this year's festival were announced to many international groups, and several theater groups announced their readiness to participate in the festival. Among the applicant's works, 11 plays were approved and finally We chose two plays that was suitable for presentation online.

Brazil is participating in the festival with the play "The Story of a Babysitter" directed by Luis Andrew Cherubini.
