Friendship is the duty of all of us

Iran Theater-Saeed Poursamimi , a veteran artist and well-known theater and cinema actor, issued and signed the message of the fifth year of the 7th of Farvardin( March 27) as the National Day of Performing Arts in Iran.

The fifth message of the National Performing Arts Day was written by "Saeed Poursamimi" after recording this day in the official calendar of the country. On Wednesday night, in the presence of Qader Ashna (Director General of Performing Arts) and Reza Basirat (CEO of the Performing Arts Association) at Poursamimi's house, the message was signed by this artist in the field of theater and cinema.

 

 

Saeed Poursamimi (born 29 February 1944,[1] Tehran) is an Iranian actor. He started film career acting in Captain Khorshid directed by Naser Taghvai. He received three Crystal Simorgh for Captain Khorshid, Tohfeh-ha and Pardeh-ye Akhar. He also selected as the Comedian of the year by Golagha institution.

 

 

 

 

Since 1962 World Theatre Day has been celebrated by ITI Centres, ITI Cooperating Members, theatre professionals, theatre organizations, theatre universities and theatre lovers all over the world on the 27th of March. This day is a celebration for those who can see the value and importance of the art form “theatre”, and acts as a wake-up-call for governments, politicians and institutions which have not yet recognised its value to the people and to the individual and have not yet realised its potential for economic growth.
