Shadi Asadpoor to Iran Theater:
Based on Albert Camus' Caligula, I ‘ll direct a show

Iran Theater- Shadi Asadpoor said: " I will direct a show with the presence of Arta Institute students based on Caligula very soon.”
Shadi Asadpoor, playwright, director, teacher and founder of Arta Theater Group, said in an interview with Iran Theater about her new theatrical activities: " At Arta Acting Training Institute, we hold courses and at the end of each course, we stage a play with students. For the latest course, we will make an adaptation of the play "Caligula" written by Albert Camus.”
She added:” It will be a loosely adaptation , I am faithful to the main plot. In a way, only the characters of Albert Camus' play will be in our show. The idea took 7 months to become a play.”
Asadipour explained : "our approach is modern and I followed the same approach in the previous courses. In March 2020, based on Shakespeare's Macbeth, we adapted a play called Nightmares and it went in stage in the Divar Chahrom Theater Hall."
