Somayeh Mehri : The book "Theater in the Street" was published

Somayeh Mehri is a writer, actress and director in cinema and theater who has had an effective presence in the theater and Fadjr Theater Festival in recent years and has received awards.

She talked about her recent activites to Iran Theater.

She said:” During o outbreak of the fourth wave of Coronavirus and   re-closure of Halls , during I was writing the book "Theater on the Street". This book has been published by Noda Publications And this work is a comprehensive, useful and complete resource for young street theater enthusiasts and artists to learn the techniques and issues of street theater today.

 

“Dr. Shahram Karami has written a comprehensive and complete introduction to this book and I thank him for his efforts to publish this work. I did a lot of research for and despite the lack of specialized resources in this field. To make the book up-to-date and attractive I used very useful foreign sources and articles,. This book consists of five chapters including introduction, roots of performing arts, history and background of theater, history and background of theater, street theater in Iran, the necessity of street theater, elements of street theater and each section includes several sub-categories.”
