Obaid Rostami was appointed as the secretary of the Mariwan Street Theater Fest.

Iran Theater- The Director General of Performing Arts appointed Obaid Rostami, Director General of Islamic Culture and Guidance of Kurdistan Province, as "Secretary of the 15th Mariwan Street Theater Festival".

 

He wrote in a part of his decree:

 

"Mariwan Street Theater Festival, as the most important event of this kind in the country, has a valuable and important place among Iranian artists and other countries, experts and audiences, especially the honorable people of Mariwan.

 

 

The close relationship between street performances and different types of performances with the audience and the expression of human and social issues and concerns and its high level of effectiveness is a valuable advantage that can be obtained through research, expert planning and using previous experiences. This precious point gained a lot of benefits. This issue will be doubly important this year due to the pandemic and its individual and social consequences.”

 

Obaid Rostami was born in 1970 in Sanandaj. In addition to many years of activity in the field of performing arts as a writer, actor and director, he is currently the Director General of Culture and Guidance of Kurdistan Province. The chairman of the provincial performing arts association and a member of the provincial performing arts licensing council have been among the responsibilities of this artist director.
