Isfahan ranks second in the field of audio book production
Iran Theater-In recent years, one of the theater groups of Isfahan province has produced their works to perform on stage, they has undertaken another activity and this activity quickly went through a growing process and was noticed and admired by the artists of the performing arts.
The preparation and production of "Audiobook", which has found its own fan base for several years, has become one of the concerns of the Shahrzad theater troupe from Isfahan in recent years. Quantitatively in this area, it has been ranked second after the capital as the second leading city, and undoubtedly Shahab Ghazali, the head of this group, has played a significant role in shaping the process of this team.
Shahab Ghazali is a stage writer and director of theater and television, born in 1976 in Isfahan. He completed his studies in acting at Arak University, and almost from the early 1990s, Shahab Ghazali started his activities.
He talks about the process of producing audiobooks and the path he has taken to date: “In fact, if I want to define this process in the form of a journey , it starts back to about ten years ago, when we, with other members of the group, thought of launching a radio channel, and we would like to have a continuous relationship with the audience. We created a radio that was initially on Telegram and later we followed our activities more widely on Instagram.”
Then they have launched Radio Shahrzad and started working.
“At Shahrzad Radio, we started recording and preparing a series of radio shows. Initially, a weekly radio show was aired on Shahrzad Radio. As time went by and we gained experience in the process of producing a radio play, the interval was reduced to one week, until immediately after the production and broadcast of a work. The next phase began.”
“The novin Goya Book Institute, which works professionally and completely specialized in the field of preparing audio books, offered us cooperation.”
He gave an explanation about the criteria for selecting plays:” We tried to present the best written works of world literature in the form of a radio show. In fact, the selection of works was done by us. Of course, the most important thing was the ability to convert the text into an audiobook, but since our cooperation with the Novin Goya Book Institute began, they has selected the texts .
In other words, we produced the works that the institute wanted from us. “
