Bijan Afshar dies of Covid-19

Iran Theater- Bijan Afshar, a theater, cinema and television actor, who had been hospitalized due to covid-19 and heart disease, passed away on the morning of May 10.
Behzad Farahani had explained about Bijan Afshar's general condition: his condition is not very favorable and he hardly talk.
Confirming the death of Bijan Afshar, Hamidreza Naeimi, writer and theater director, said: "Unfortunately, during the last two days, Bijan Afshar, a good theater and cinema actor who was suffering from covid-19 disease, was reported to be in critical condition, and unfortunately we lost him today."
Bijan Afshar was born in 1965 in Tehran and got a bachelor's degree in theater acting from the Dramatic Arts university, Tehran University. He was a member of the Theater Forum and had acted in various plays. He started acting in cinema by playing a role in the movie Sweet Jam directed by Marzieh Boroumand in 2001.
