I’ll direct The Children Show “The Forest”

 

Iran Theater- Arash Sharifzadeh has been the director of children's and teenagers' plays for many years.

 

 Sharifzadeh said: "I will Direct the children show" The Forest"with the support of the General Directorate of Performing Arts in September at the Honar Hall."

 

In his latest conversation with Iran Theater, he talked about his recent activities.

He says: I am in the pre-production of a show called "The Forest" written by Bahram Jalalipour, and I will start the rehearsals of the play with the normalization of the conditions, and in September I will stage the play with the good support of the Art Hall management. The play will be commissioned by the General Directorate of Performing Arts.”

 

He talks about the theme and atmosphere of the play "Jungle".

“The subject of the play is about the Internet and computer games and the cultural and soft war that the enemy wants to do behind these issues, and their main goal is children, teenagers and young people. According to the author, the word "forest" means electronic warfare.”

The director pointes out the lack of work in this field and  he addresses the roots of the enemy's soft war against us.

“Most of the shows in this field has been superficial and with a clichéd look, and we try to have a new look and perspective  about the sacred defense and in children shows . We have been in the era of sacred defense. When we are going to show war to children, we have to consider many conditions and confront the child audience correctly by moving away from the one-dimensional view.”
