I will direct "Khoshdelan" written by Saeed pour Samimi

In an interview with Iran Theater,  stage director and actress Parizad Seif said about her new work activities.

She said:” During the closure of the halls, I worked on several play so that after reaching the conclusion, I could prioritize their performance in theater halls such as the City Theaer Complex or Iranshahr Hall . Of course, I had agreed to perform the play "Zahak" at the end of last year and the beginning of the new persian year  at City Theater Complex, which was suspended with the outbreak of the fourth wave.”

She emphasized about the performance of "Khoshdelan" : This play is written by Saeedpour Samimi, which has not been published yet, and "Khoshdalan" is the temporary name of this play, in which Saeedpour Samimi is finalizing the play. This work is a comedy and its performance method is in accordance with the traditional Iranian theater (Ro hozi) and in somehow Iranian Taziyeh. The kind of  taziyeh that were mostly performed in women's circles during the Qajar period. It is suitable for performing plays, and due to the bitterness and challenges of Coronavirus, society needs to see fun and happy plays.”

 

Regarding her collaboration with Saeedpour Samimi after the show of "Swan Song", the director added: "It was a good experience for me and I hope that he would star in the " Khoshdelan as well. "
