The presence of theater artists is always influential in the community

Iran Theater-The closing ceremony of the street theater repertoire of Khuzestan province was held in the presence of national and provincial directors and artists at the Bustan Gate Hotel in Ahvaz.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Sasan Shakoorian, the secretary of the street theater repertoire of Khuzestan province, while welcoming the guests and artists of the street theater of Khuzestan province, presented a report on the holding of this repertoire.

 

Sasan Shakoorian said: The repertoire of street theater in Khuzestan province was published in January 2021 by the General Directorate of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Khuzestan and the Performing Arts Association of Khuzestan province with the aim of supporting public performances of street theater. They applied to participate in this repertoire.

Ali Osivand, the artist of Masjed Soleimani Cinema and Theater, attended the closing ceremony of the street theater repertoire of Khuzestan province, said: "It is very gratifying that theater performances in Khuzestan province started after 15 months. “

 

Ali Osivand further stated: Khuzestan Theater has always had an important position in the country and I am glad that this position is still maintained by the concerned youth and artists of this province.

In the next part of the ceremony, four activists and veterans of acting and directing street theater in Khuzestan province were honored: Manouchehr Baharloui, veteran of street theater acting from Ahvaz, Behrouz Sanei, veteran and active actor of street theater from Omidieh, Abdul Mohammad Nanakar, street theater activist  and Ali Banaian.

The street theater repertoire of Khuzestan province was held in memory of  the general Qasem Soleimani under the management  of Sasan Shakourian on May with the presence of 13 theater groups simultaneously in 10 cities of Khuzestan province.
